Sophisticated horror maestro Boris Karloff stars in these two tales of terror. Anton (Karloff) is a cruel despot who murders his enemies and dumps their bodies in the titular "black room." When his kind twin (also played by Karloff) returns after a long absence, a battle between good and evil ensues. Then, in The Man They Couldn't Hang, Karloff plays a scientist whose cutting-edge research leads to his death and rebirth as a vengeful maniac. |
