A woman desperate to have children resorts to kidnapping in this drama starring Shabana Azmi and Farooq Shaikh. Geeta (Azmi) married a man (Shaikh) her parents disliked and conceived a child when she was told she couldn't, but then tragically lost her baby. She decides to kidnap a boy from a city bus, but the authorities soon apprehend her and the boy is returned to his parents. Will the law show Geeta mercy? Can she even bring herself to care? |
