In this Bollywood comedy, fun-loving accountant Ram Prasad (Amol Palekar) lands a job at a firm run by strict Bhavani Shankar (Utpal Dutt). When Ram's sports obsession causes a problem at work, he creates an identical twin, Laxman (also played by Palekar), and a comedy of errors ensues. Shankar's daughter, Urmila (Bindiya Goswami), falls for Laxman and wants to marry him. But Shankar has his own plans for her to marry Ram. |
