About: Son of a steelworker and an art teacher, Daniel Craig was born on March 2, 1968, in Chester, England. He was raised in the small town of Prescot, near Liverpool, and relocated to London when he was 16 to train at the National Youth Theatre.After he graduated from the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Craig's big-screen debut came with a role as Sgt. Botha in 1992's The Power of One, but it wasn't until he played Angelina Jolie's rival in Tomb Raider (2001) that he gained international recognition.
