About: Natalie Portman was born in Jerusalem on June 9, 1981, to a doctor father and artist mother who moved the family to America when Natalie was 3 years old. She was discovered by a talent agent at age 11 and made her film debut in a major role in 1995's The Professional.Impressive in small roles in Heat, Beautiful Girls, Everyone Says I Love You and Mars Attacks, Portman joined the Star Wars universe as Princess Amidala in Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (and its sequels).
